Here’s the card for this weeks Italian Open which gets underway on Thursday. Whilst 7255 yards may seem like a might long way, it’s a fairly standard on tour these days!

That said, we really rarely see courses set up with short Par 3’s on the card. At only 150 yards, the 13th hole will no doubt offer the players a potential birdie opportunity as they will be firing it in with something like a 9 iron.

It looks like the course will really beat the players up if they struggle with accuracy off the tee. However, those that control the big stick and can get it out there 300+ yards will no doubt find themselves in the mix come Sunday afternoon.
